JAWS wireless weighing software, included with your scale purchase.
Powerful software for weight display, visualizing software for easy viewing, and details for each of your acquisition modules
Main Features of JAWS100
The JAWS softwareOur software provides a complete solution for viewing, logging, visualizing, and analyzing your wireless data from the M2400 series wireless acquisition modules. With support for up to 100 channels, this software delivers advanced features tailored to aircraft weighing systems as well as shoring weight control applications.
Key Features Include:
- View and log up to 100 channels simultaneously for comprehensive data analysis.
- Graphical capabilities for intuitive data representation at a glance.
- Remote viewing via a built-in web server, allowing access through tablets, smartphones, or any standard browser.
- User-defined algorithms to calculate a wide range of mathematical functions, such as summing multiple modules or calculating complex formulas.
- Flexible printing options: Print your data on demand using your own shops wireless network printer. Full print outs are capable as well as retention of your weighing results as a file or PDF.
- CSV export for easy analysis in software like Microsoft Excel.
- Visual and audible alarms to indicate over and under-range values, low battery, and loss of communication.
- Graphical page creation with up to 8 customizable pages, supporting digital displays, bar graphs, and more.
System Requirements
JAWS software is compatible with Windows only:
- Windows based tablets, PC's and Laptops (32-bit minimum).
- Software back up can be saved and reloaded if needed..
- Standard laptops of all sizes can be used and programmed.
- More complex weighing such as shoring, we use high end gamer laptops that have the horse power to monitor multiple transmitters.
Performance Considerations
The performance of JAWS software depends on the specifications of the computer you're using. While the software does not take advantage of 64-bit operating systems or multi-core processors directly, it is fully compatible with both. Here are some key performance notes:
- The processor and graphics card speed will impact the responsiveness of the software, especially during window resizing.
- On faster systems, the software will enable 'Realtime Chart Update' for better visual feedback during data logging.
- Logging at higher frequencies (e.g., 200Hz) may be limited by the number of channels and display complexity. For example, logging at 200Hz with 100 channels configured is not achievable.
- Performance can also be adjusted in the software's 'Preference Window' for fine-tuning.
Licensing and Availability
The JAWS software is licensed to Jackson Aircraft Weighing Systems LLC, DBA www.aircraftscales.com. It comes pre-loaded on our laptop computers, which are included with the kits for easy, out-of-the-box use.
